Dr Russell lives locally in Billericay with her husband and two young children. Her childhood was spend in Carshalton, Surrey, and she was educated at Wallington High Grammer School for Girls. She went to medical school at the Royal Free Hospital School of Medicine in London, and gained a degree in Medicine and a Batchelor of Science in Infectious Diseases and Immunity.
Since qualification all Dr Russell's post graduate experience has been in the Essex area, working as a Billericay GP principal for the last 11 years. She is an experienced GP who enjoys all aspects of Primary Care but particularly specialises in complex medical conditions, preventative healthcare, diabetes, gynaecology, and family planning.
Dr Ridley grew up in Chelmsford, Essex, attending the Chelmsford County High School for Girls. She obtained her qualification in Medicine and Surgery as well as a first in Neuroscience BSc from The St Bartholemews and The Royal London Hospital Medical School.
She completed her GP vocational training scheme in Chelmsford and returned to London to spend 10 years working as a GP in London, 7 of those were spent at the Marylebone Health Centre, a world renowned pioneering centre of Traditional Medicine working alongside Complementory Health Practioners. For the last 4 years she has been a GP partner in Billericay and has established links with local specialists and services to add to her knowledge of Harley Street Specialists
Dr Ridley practices in a way to seek out the root causes of disease and dysfunction and views the body as one integrative system. Her approach is to treat the whole body not just the symptoms. Her interest in this practice is currently being consolidated by accreditation to the Institute of Functional Medicine.
